Remember the little people!

How easy it is to get so busy, so wrapped up in the hectic pace of life, that we forget about the really important little people-the children.

Future Stars is about helping society’s most important asset, the next generation.

Our organization exists to bridge critical financial gaps faced by parents who are working hard, but lack the means to provide necessities for their children. These necessities may include basics, such as clothing, school supplies, prescriptions, health and dental care. We also provide funding for children to participate in important developmental activities, such as the arts and sports.


He was born to a seventeen-year-old mother, and everyone said neither
she nor her son would amount to anything. He never knew his father,
and said he didn’t care because his mother gave him plenty of love.
When he was growing up, there was a bike shop nearby that got kids
started in the sport. He got his first bike when he was seven and loved
it. He joined a swim team when he was twelve. In the beginning he
was placed with seven year olds because he was a poor swimmer, but
within a year he worked so hard that he was fourth in the state. He
entered his first junior triathlon when he was thirteen. He won by
a lot, and he liked the feeling.

of building positive self esteem in their children. Self-esteem is a major key to success in life. The development of a positive self-concept or healthy self-esteem is extremely important to the happiness and success of children and teenagers.


While attempting to socialize and speak with girls at his new school, Dave was confronted by another teenage male. In his attempt to put Dave down, the rival asked, “Hey, Tiny Tim, where’d you get your threads…The Salvation Army?”

“Nope, Dave proudly responded, K-Mart!”

Dave Pelzer obviously benefited from healthy self-esteem.
